PRIVACY POLICY AND DATA PROTECTION

This privacy policy and data protection explains how we, Stand Art Association, collect and process your personal data. Personal data means any information or set of information that identifies or could be used to identify you. This includes information you share with us, what we learn from you, and the choices you make regarding the marketing messages you want us to send you. This policy explains how we process your personal data, what your rights are, and how the law protects you and your data. We understand the importance of children’s privacy on the Internet. This website is not intended for or directed towards children under 18 years old. We do not intentionally collect or store information about individuals under 18 years of age.

LEGAL FRAMEWORK FOR DATA PROTECTION

Maintaining privacy and protecting your personal data is an important matter for us that we consider in all our business relationships. We respect the privacy of your personal data and always act in accordance with the provisions of the Data Protection Act and Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and Council dated April 27, 2016. There may be other changes over time that we will need to make in this data protection policy after August 9, 2023. In such cases, we will notify you each time we make a change to our policy. 1. Data that you share with us:

  • Data you provide when registering for our event.
  • Data you share when talking to us on the phone.
  • Data you send us in emails or letters.
  • Contact details – billing address, email address, or phone numbers.
  • Financial data – bank account and payment card details if you pay for our services yourself rather than your employer.
  • Transaction data – details of payments from you and other details about services you have purchased from us.
  • Data you send to us as feedback.
  • Marketing and Communication Data
  • Your preferences for receiving marketing messages from us and your communication preferences. 

We do not collect sensitive personal data about you, including details about race or ethnic origin, religious or philosophical beliefs, sexual life, sexual orientation, political views, union membership, health information, genetic and biometric data. We also do not collect information about criminal convictions and offenses.

2. Automatically collected data 

For data security reasons and to optimize the convenience of using our online services, we collect non-personal data. The following non-personal data is stored: the internet browser used; the operating system; the number of visits and the average time spent on our website, as well as the pages you visited. Such automatically collected data is not associated with data from other sources. However, we reserve the right to check such data in case of specific indications of illegal use.

Through them, we collect certain information from all visitors to our website. Therefore, we are not responsible for the use, misuse, or illegal appropriation by other users of any personal data or other information you share in Social Media Applications. USE OF PERSONAL DATA

The personal data you provide is processed and used by Stand Art Association solely for the specified purposes. These include, in particular:

  1. Providing, improving, and maintaining our online services:
    This includes data analysis, identifying usage trends, as well as calculations and statistical data. These data are primarily quantitative and do not include personalized information.
  2. Sending newsletters:
    If you fill out the web form to subscribe to our newsletter, we use the provided data solely to verify that you are the owner of the specified email address and want to receive the newsletter, to create an email list, and to analyze the usage of our newsletter.
  3. Completing registration forms for one of our events:
    By filling in the data, you agree that they will be used to identify you as a registered participant in an event organized by us, to receive notifications by email and phone related to the preparation of the event, details about its conduct, and materials and information after its completion. If you do not provide such data, we cannot guarantee your place at the event due to our inability to identify you.

 

SHARING YOUR PERSONAL DATA

Although in very rare cases, to provide the services you have requested from us, we may share your personal information with external service providers. We require all service providers with whom we share your data to respect the security of your personal data and to treat them in accordance with the law. We partner only with companies that handle personal data responsibly. We do not allow any of our service providers to use your personal data for their own purposes.

NON-PROVISION OF PERSONAL DATA

In cases where we need to process your personal data in connection with a legal requirement or under the terms of a contract we have with you, and you cannot provide this data upon request, we may not be able to fulfill the contract we have or are trying to conclude with you (for example, to provide a service). In this case, we may need to not provide the service you desire from us, but we will notify you if this is the case.

We, Stand Art Association, have implemented the necessary information security measures to prevent accidental loss, use, or unauthorized access to your personal data, modification, or disclosure. Additionally, we limit access to your personal data to those employees, external service providers, and other third parties who have a legitimate right to access them. They are subject to a confidentiality obligation. 

However, given the nature of the Internet, we would like to point out that there may be security gaps in data transmission over the Internet (e.g., via email) and that full data protection from third-party access is not possible.

RETENTION PERIOD OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA

We will retain your personal data only as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes for which we collected it, including to satisfy any legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. To determine the appropriate retention period for personal data, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of personal data, the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure of your personal data, the purposes for which we process your personal data, and whether we can achieve those purposes through other means, as well as applicable legal requirements.

MARKETING

As expressly agreed, we may use your personal information to inform you about relevant services and upcoming offers. We may use your personal data to send you marketing messages only if we have your consent or a legitimate interest in doing so. You can ask us to stop sending you marketing messages at any time – just contact us or use the opt-out links in any message sent to you.

YOUR RIGHTS

The General Data Protection Regulation guarantees you a certain set of rights that you can exercise in connection with the personal data we process about you. In particular, you have:

We will try to respond to all legitimate requests within one month. Sometimes it may take us more than a month, in which case we will notify you.
  • The right to tell us if the information we hold is incorrect. You have the right to question any information we hold about you that you believe is incorrect or incomplete.
