Martina Paukova is a Slovakian illustrator based in Berlin, known for colorful, character-driven work that blends humor with all things human. With over a decade of experience, her clients include Apple, Google, Converse, Guardian or the New York Times. Her images often use visual metaphors to tell layered stories in a single frame. Martina holds a master’s degree in illustration at Camberwell College of Arts in London, and in addition to her freelance work she currently teaches Character design and Storytelling at the HSBE university in Berlin.
Martina is a regular speaker at events such as TEDx Bratislava, Pictoplasma Berlin or Pictoplasma New York and in 2023 she was invited to sit as a president of the Illustration category of the D&AD Awards in London.
