Hana Tintor

Hana is Zagreb based illustrator and animator. Hana’s work spans children’s and adult’s picture books, editorial illustrations, murals, animated films, posters and comics. Her work was published in more than twenty books and this year she published her first documentary graphic novel – Girls.

For three years, Hana worked as animator and art director in Adriatic Animation, where she learned about character design and movement. She made the short animated film The Sea of Thoughts (2019) and directed and animated two music videos for Croatian bands, Fat President (2025) and Rana Rana (2023).

Her illustrations are quirky, fast, brave, conceptual and humorous. Her approach to work is individual and functional which leads to fresh and narrative results.

Besides illustrating, she enjoys spending time outdoors, hiking or cycling. She is a passionate swimmer, a dog person and biscuits lover (probably a dog’s influence).
